Annie Show Information Packet 2026

This year our show, Annie, will be held in one cast at Woods Cross High School on Friday, and Saturday, June 5th and 6th. Mandatory technical rehearsal will be on Monday, June 1st. Dress rehearsal and class photos will be held at the studio on Saturday, May 30th. 

All dancers involved in the show MUST be in attendance to tech rehearsal and both performances.

Dates with no classes the week of the show

There will be no regular classes held on June 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th the week of the show, and June 8th and 9thafter the show. 
 

One Cast

The cast will perform twice, once on Friday and once on Saturday. Main character roles will be responsible for helping backstage and will also participate in a dance with their class. 

Dress Rehearsal and class photos -May 30th at the studio. 

Dress rehearsal will be 10:00am to 12:30pm. Call time for all main characters will be 9:00am, and they will remain until 1pm. 

Drop off and pick up through the south door. Each class will be given a call time to arrive. Each class will dance, get class photos taken, and be dismissed. You will receive a notice on BAND when your dancer’s class has been dismissed. 

This is a closed dress rehearsal. Parents will be asked to leave.
Dancers should arrive in their base costume (see below), with a jacket and pants for cover. Dancers should come in full show makeup and hair (each class will receive an email with makeup and hair info). Please send your child with a bag that contains all pairs of shoes, and a water bottle. Please put names on all your child’s belongings. 


Cast Technical Rehearsal at Woods Cross High School - Monday, June 1st 4:00-7:00pm
4:00pm call time for all dancers, including preschoolers. Technical rehearsal is mandatory for all dancers to be in the show! Main characters will be in costume for this rehearsal. All others see below.

Please have your dancer dress in their show t-shirt (handed out at dress rehearsal), and shorts, with their hair pulled back. Please no show hair, costumes or show makeup for tech rehearsal. Please send your child with a bag that contains all pairs of shoes, and a water bottle. Please put names on all your child’s belongings.

Parents of preschoolers will be notified on BAND when they can check their dancers out from tech rehearsal. All other dancers may be picked up at 7:00pm.
This is a closed tech rehearsal. Parents will be asked to leave.

 

Show nights- Friday June 5th, Saturday, June 6th

Call time for Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th
Call time 6pm for all dancers. Showtime is 7pm 
Doors will open for seating at 6:30pm. 

Please send your child each night with a bag that contains all pairs of shoes, and a water bottle. They should arrive in their base costume (see below), with their show t-shirt (which they will receive at dress rehearsal) and pants for cover. Please put names on all your child’s belongings.
At least one parent or guardian MUST remain in the audience for every performance that a dancer participates in.

Please park in the high school parking lot.

Premium ticketing is $25 per seat. Basic seating is $18 for adults and $10 for children. Two years and older need a ticket. You can use your last name in uppercase and 2026 as a coupon code for two free tickets per family, included in your show fee. Example: SMITH2026.

Costumes

Costumes are rentals only.
Dancers will keep their base costume, but all other costume items 
will be given out at the theater and must stay at the theater and be collected the night of the show.

Base Costumes
Base costumes should be purchased ahead of time. These are the same base we used for our Christmas show, and should be reused. Base costumes can be purchased at the link below. The group order has already been placed, please order from the link below:

Hair
Please watch for a class email detailing how your dancer’s hair should be done for the dress rehearsal and performances. 

Makeup
We will not be supplying makeup for the dancers. All dancers should come with their own 
foundation, natural color of eyeshadow, mascara, blush, and lipstick. Main characters will be given a makeup plot and will be responsible for their own character makeup.

Volunteers

Our show is a full-length production, and we rely on help from you as parents to make it work! We need help backstage with classes, prep work, and striking the show. Main characters are required to volunteer for six hours of volunteer work or make a donation of $80 towards backstage help. Volunteers can be parents, grandparents, and teen helpers.  Each person who volunteers will get early access to ticketing. Watch for a volunteer sign up sheet. 

During the show

Preschoolers
Preschoolers ages 3-6 will be supervised in rooms backstage from the moment they arrive until after the show is ended. We will be providing snacks for them. Please feed them dinner before or after their show. Send them with a bag that has their shoes, and a water bottle. Please plan to help backstage-preschooler helpers is where we need it the most! 

 

Beginner and above level dancers
Beginner 1, Ballet 1 and above, advanced beginners, novice, prizewinner, main characters and adult classes will be in designated backstage areas during the show. After the finale they will be reunited with their families in the lobby. Please feed them dinner before or after their show.
